Leading IT major Syntel Inc. opened the zero slot with the first graduating batch of IEM students and provided excellent package of 3.8 lacs p.a for the selected students giving a boost to the training and placement activities.

The Training and Placement cell is an integral part of our institute. The institute has provided complete infrastructure for effective functioning of the cell. Training activities are organized throughout the year in an effort towards preparing the prospective students for the campus selection programmes. The cell maintains a very cordial relationship with national and multinational companies and also prepares the recruited candidates to face the competitive world by providing them with necessary training and support.

Apart from the above activities the Training and Placement Cell organizes workshops on communication and soft skills which developes the confidence among the students to face the recruitment drives by the visiting companies.

Till May 2011, a good number of graduating student had the opportunity to appear for recruitment process in different renowned companies like Wipro, HCL Technologies, Mindfire Solutions, Sepal Technologies, Aglow Telecom, Candid Cohort, Arjun Group of Companies, Zakozi IT Solution and many more, with an average package of 2.8 lacs p.a.
