Student Halls – a PreView

At present there are two Boys Hostels, one Girls Hostel and Staff Residences in Campus-Mathura. The Campus is a wonderful place to live in.

Each Hostel has its own Mess. Provision of clean, cold drinking water from the Reserve Osmosis Filters, and the facility of 24 hrs water supply and power back-up has been made available. There is a separate Medical Cell for the boarders and there are sufficient arrangements for first aid. There is a part-time Doctor available on campus twice a week and the College maintains good liaison with the reputed hospitals in city. A Jeep/Ambulance is always available on campus for cases of any emergency/urgency.

There is also the provision of a Virtual/Pseudo On-Campus Shop, whereby the students can give their shopping/marketing requirements to the Shop In-Charge, and in turn receive the goods on a weekly basis. Therefore the students may save the trouble of travelling to Shopping Complexes in Mathura if they do not want to.

With a 24*7 security patrol, the campus is safer than home.

Every Student Hall has its own Common Room with a LCD Widescreen TV and other entertainment provisions. Wi-Fi Internet Connectivity is provided at all hostels.

Food @ Campus is like home away from home. The students are provided with a facility of 3/4 Tier Vegetarian Meal everyday. There is a Hostel Food Committee elected by the students for the students, which has the responsibility of deciding menus for every week and communicating with the Mess In-Charge about any concerns at all. The tripartite meetings of Student Committee and Mess In-Charge and the Hostel Warden are held every month.

Staying on campus provides the perfect opportunity to balance the work and play during the best days of your life. There are two big playgrounds, basket ball court and gymnasium available at the disposal of the students on campus always. All necessary sports gear is provided by the College.

However though staying at the Hostels may be too much fun, it also requires the student to learn discipline in daily life. The students are required to abide by the College and Hostel Rules. Also they are expected to be polite and courteous to all the Members of Staff residing on Campus.

In order to promote study times and discipline in learning at the hostels, there are Study Hours implemented at the hostels whereby all students are required to be studying in their respective rooms from 9-11 p.m everyday. Any student found loitering or sleeping during this time without no good reason may be subject to disciplinary action.
