About Mathura »
SKS Group of Institutions (SKSgi) marked its expansion in Mathura with the start of Institute of Engineering and Management (IEM). IEM was established in the year 2007 and is located right along the Delhi-Agra NH#2, 125 Km from Delhi, 20 Km from Mathura and 12 Km from Vrindavan. It is AICTE approved. A two hours bus journey is what it takes to come from Delhi to IEM. IEM has an objective of providing quality education to the young while maintaining liaison with the industries on one hand and the premier research institutions on the other.

The rooms have been designed to make them feel at home, away from home. The purpose is to develop a sense of living and sharing together along with a feeling of belongingness towards the institution. The inmates are provided healthy and hygienically prepared, nutritious, palatable, 4-tier vegetarian meal.

  • Rooms are available on double, triple & quadruple sharing basis.
  • R.O. filtered, cool, drinking water in each floor.
  • Steel cupboard, study table, chair and seperated bed in each room for each student.
  • Provision of Television in the common room with Tata Sky connectivity.
  • Emergency Medical Care, Ambulance and First Aid.
  • Power Backup facility in Campus.

  • Ragging free zone.

ANTI RAGGING PROVISIONS IN THE HOSTELS

The hostels for Retuning Students and New Students are in separate buildings / floors so there remains a zero probability of Ragging on Campus Halls. The Retuning / Senior Students are restricted to enter the Boys Hostel-2 which is exclusively reserved for New Students (Boys).

Similarly for Girls Hostel, there are seperate floors in the building dedicated for Returning Students and New Students with separate staircases.

During the start of the new Academic Session there are members of Staff on duty in each hostel on rotation in order to make the new students feel comfortable to the new campus surroundings. However, in cases of any dire Emergency / Urgency the Hostels Wardens or the Head of the Institution residing on campus are always approachable.
